The Ritz Hotel project in Portugal masterfully blends contemporary sophistication with timeless charm through the expert application of Novacolor finishes. Led by João Guimarães of GUIHART – Photography, Arts and Design, Lda, the design elevates both ambiance and atmosphere across the hotel’s key spaces.

At the rooftop bar, the ceiling is finished with Archi+ Concrete, creating a modern, textured canopy that reflects urban luxury and architectural precision. Inside, the walls are adorned with Marmur Fine, a refined lime plaster that introduces depth, warmth, and soft, elegant movement to the interiors.

This thoughtful material selection brings an artistic and sensorial layer to the guest experience—seamlessly marrying aesthetic appeal with functional excellence. The project showcases how surface design can define the tone of hospitality environments, aligning beauty with comfort in one of Portugal’s most distinguished settings.
