The Steelcoat™ Wind Turbine Base Protection System is a specialized corrosion protection solution engineered to protect the critical base sections of wind turbine towers. These bases are highly susceptible to environmental factors such as moisture, salt spray, chemical exposure, and mechanical abrasion, which can lead to premature corrosion and structural degradation.

This system combines a surface-tolerant primer, a corrosion-inhibiting petrolatum tape, and a tough, UV- and impact-resistant outer coating, providing a flexible, waterproof barrier. The cold-applied system ensures ease of installation and maintenance, even in challenging offshore or onshore environments, helping to extend the operational life of wind turbine foundations and reduce costly repairs.
