The Steelcoat™ Tank Base Protection System (TBP) is a purpose-built corrosion protection solution designed to safeguard the vulnerable base areas of above-ground storage tanks. These critical zones are often exposed to moisture accumulation, splash, soil contaminants, and mechanical abrasion, which can accelerate corrosion and compromise tank integrity.

The system combines a surface-tolerant primer, a corrosion-inhibiting petrolatum tape, and a durable, UV-resistant outer coating to form a continuous, flexible, and resilient barrier. This cold-applied system provides long-lasting protection against corrosion, extends tank life, and reduces maintenance costs, all while being easy to inspect and maintain.
